Arrived in Romania as scheduled-- to SNOW and cold temps. It's still winter here. I brought about 150 lbs. of supplies along with what I need for the month. Staying in a comfortable apartment (4th floor walk-up= exercise!)..roosters nearby but haven't heard them yet, it's too cold they say...but once it warms up, I'll hear them every morning at 4AM. Here's the view from the apt I'm staying in. You'll see many apt buildings- Blocs- built during the communist times.
