Happy Birthday Ovi!

La Multi Ani Ovi!

Today is a BIG day at RCE...Ovi Martin, our General Director celebrates his 42nd birthday!

Yesterday, Ovi was surprised at the Sunshine School by all the students and teachers.. our wonderful cooks, Adina and Mariana prepared the most gigantic sandwich that you ever did see! Octi, who spent many years as a wood sculptor, even helped by pulling out his tools again to carve up the bread just right..and when it was finished,  it looked just like one of Ovi's favorite foods-- a hamburger!! He was totally surprised and shocked to see everyone gathered there to celebrate and to see the size of the 'hamburger' and the gigantic jug of 'juice' that was prepared to go along with it.

When it was all said and done, the 'hamburger' was able to feed many people for lunch!

Today, Ovi's day began with greetings from many colleagues at the RCE office, the Darius Houses and once again, the Sunshine School. Krista and Adi came over from Amy's House to visit and Ovi received many many phone calls and

text messages throughout the day!  It seemed every half hour or so

another group of people would stop by the office, sing happy birthday, and enjoy some home made cakes and coffee. As Ovi would say.. "It was a GREAT
day!"
